# Save The Bay High School BayCamp Save The Bay's High School Camp is the teen tier of the nonprofit's Summer BayCamps, using Narragansett Bay itself as the classroom. Based at Save The Bay's Providence headquarters on the working waterfront, the week-long camp is designed for students who have completed grades 8-12 and are interested in environmental science careers. ## What You'll Do - Participate in field research on Narragansett Bay while learning from Save The Bay's professional educators and scientists - Investigate local environmental issues, coastal habitats, and bay species up close - Explore the shoreline and get on the water during a full-day, week-long session (July 6-10 in 2026) - Connect what you observe in the field to real conservation work happening in Rhode Island ## Who Should Apply Rhode Island-area students who have completed grades 8-12 — especially teens weighing a college path in marine biology, ecology, or environmental science. Tuition in 2026 is $375 for Save The Bay members and $400 for non-members, and the organization runs an annual scholarship application window for families receiving SNAP/EBT benefits. ## Outcomes Campers leave with field-research experience on a nationally significant estuary, exposure to environmental science careers, and a direct relationship with one of Rhode Island's leading conservation organizations.
